43. I did the same thing, now I really wish I had some of those old 1999 and 2000 shows on tape.
I did recently post a few old Craig Killborn Daily Show and Daily Show w/Jon Stewart pieces that I found at the end of old video tapes to my old account at You_Tube, but they finally just deleted the whole account, and now it looks like Viacom is getting tough with DailyMotion now too.

It's really kind of amazing how much better he got, he really did kinda suck at first, but I think that was because he was just trying to "replace" Craig (do the same Craig Kilborn shtick) but once he began to take control of the show and make it his own, it (and he) got much better.

I think it was good timing though, because once the "Indecision 2000 coverage started ramping up, it really started getting good. I'm a little worried about 2009 though, because once GWBush and his slim-ball friends are gone, I really doubt it will be as funny. They may have to revert to the "less political/more pop-culture" show it was during the Clinton years, and I wonder if Jon will want to stay for that.
