6. I was laid off a week ago.

20+ years in the mortgage business...3rd layoff in 5.5 yrs.
The mortgage industry shed 10,500 jobs in April alone!
Meanwhile, the likes of Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Lehman Brothers are all making record friggin profits.
These are the big Wall Street firms that have been causing the mortgage liquidity crisis (and layoffs).
We struggle while they go yachting!
