"Napalitano, Cut the crap. No more pat downs, cut the scanners. This is an order from your chief executive."

Leadership. Its what we elect our people to do. Govern with the consent of the governed.
If the people do not like this, then our leaders need to change it. End of story.

If scanners and pat downs are still a part of the landscape in 2012, it will be used against the Democratic party. Leaders need to respond to the outrage NOW, not later.
