spent more time and energy working on behalf of ordinary people these past two years, you wouldn't have to beg. The Democratic electorate would be energized and ready to kick ass.

If people are disinclined to get involved because of promises not kept and the impression that campaign rhetoric doesn't match performance, it's hard to blame them - though it's definitely counterproductive.

That said, I intend to vote for Jerry Brown, Boxer, and the sacrificial lamb chosen to oppose perennial do-nothing Repuke Congresscritter Elton Gallegly. He's a total shit, but the idiots in this district keep sending him back to DC every two years, and the Dems put up only token opposition.
