A priest who had been ministering to the police and firefighter communities for decades. He got written out of the right-wing narrative pretty quickly too--he was a queer Catholic New Yorker who really loved his city for all its racial/religious/sexual/class diversity, and died in the service of it. If I really believed in the monotheistic heaven, I'd be pretty sure he's there now.
