impeachment proceedings, the proceedings themselves are damaging (eg Clinton and the 2000, 2002, 2004, elections, not until 2006 could we get a grip and that grip is not a powerful as it should be.) What hinges on the impeachment of bush is proving to the world that we do not agree with his methods, that we don't condone his criminal contempt for the principals that make our nation great.

More hinges on the impeachment than just political control in DC.

For all those that claim the IRW was lawful, there are hundreds of others that know it was not. We were charter members of the UN and our membership in the UN was a treaty that we entered pursuant to the Constitution. When we, the state department and this admin, failed to get the requisite authority from the UN to invade and occupy Iraq, they violated that charter, the federal laws that authorized our membership and relationship in the UN and the Constitution.

Many miss that little fact, but that fact was just the beginning of the flagrant abuses of power and abandonment of our laws. It was just one of so many of the constitutional violations that this admin will be known for in years to come.

World stability, hell world peace and restoration of our nation as a just nation to me is vital. If we don't seek to prove that to the world, it will matter not who we elect in the years to come. Our failure to charge and try this admin is, in effect, approval of this admin. The world knows that.
