is a bit far fetched. Per the polls I've seen in the last couple of years, most people in the country are in favor of civil unions but not in favor of "marriage," per se. A lot of those people are Democrats, I guess, since it's most people in the country.

I just get tired of people accusing others who disagree with them of being evil or Republican or whatever. There are differences of opinion.

The country is working like it should, maybe. The issue is making its way through the courts. I think it will be finally settled at the national level. I don't see how this could work on a state by state basis.
