(updated for clarity)

I posted this in a LBN thread (not the OP), but thought I should let it sit over here.
It would be interesting to see if this gets hushed hushed locally. I don't "watch" to local news, but I think I will now.

the fact is...these guys are VERY respected. They are a big supporter of the Arts around here.
Charles and his wife have a new freaking theater named after them, that they gave the money for!!
These guys have given money to everything, so to speak.

These guys have given money to charities all over town and I'm guessing (assuming) probably the world.

I'd be interested to see if any of the organizations that have received money give it back or act like nothing is happening.

WSJ article on Fraud (By the way they are big Bush supporters)

search for Wyly on each page...wouldn't take much to do your own search for more...but here's a few that I knew of on my own...

I don't "know" them. I don't remember meeting Sam.
But I've met Charles many times. "Hi, nice to see you again," and shake his hand. That's about all I know of him, personally.
However, I do have friends that know him well. I think I should make a few calls. This could get interesting.
