to their advantage.they have zero respect for laws, congress, the courts, the federal/state distinction, the people, the concept of a public company, etc.

at any given time, in any given situation, they will do whatever seems best for themselves and their own power/money situation. this includes coming up with a post hoc explanation that may or may not be truthful and may or may not be reasonable cover.

hence whatever they do doesn't reflect negatively on the institutions they abuse, beyond pointing out that it is possible to abuse them. this is true for wall street. but as we've seen, this is true for our electoral process, the presidential appointee process, the supreme court decision-making process, the budget process, the campaign process, the media, the news, and so on.

yes i give a damn and please keep hammering away at the bfee.
