The old saying about complaining about our shoes until we meet the man or woman or child without feet still applies, maybe more so. Likw so many, I've taken some real blows this last year, at times, it seemed like they were coming in waves. The problem is that we begin to expect those waves, and it's almost pavlovian to the point where it becomes a pathology. There is certainly a real zeitgeist of unhappy out there and I'm kissing it goodbye. Everything isn't bad. Even our worst days have good moments if we look for them.
