constructively dealing with hazardous waste, ceasing to pollute the ecosystem out of balance, and other selfless acts...which oddly, will result in raising our own quality of living.

As it is, our societies treat the Earth as a trash can with no consideration of what happens to us when we begin live in trash.

I've recently noticed in Los Angeles, hybrid taxi cabs. This is one example of a good start. Many, many more are required.
