Tell her not to send you any more political stuff, period. Tell her if she does, you will have to block her mail and that you'll keep in touch by phone, visit, snail mail, whatever.

Then do it.

Right wing blowhards have convinced her that bullying is an acceptable form of political discourse. She can use you as a political punching bag only with your permission. Only by setting this limit and enforcing it can you salvage any relationship with her.
