It prohibited civilian guns manufactured after 9/1994 from being marketed under 19 banned names, limited bayonet lugs and adjustable stocks to guns without protruding handgrips, and vastly increased sales (by a factor of two or three).



That's my own rifle, a 2002 model (manufactured, imported, and sold during the non-ban). Like all U.S. civilian (NFA Title 1) rifles, it is non-automatic and totally incapable of automatic fire. That magazine is also an early 2000's import, FWIW ($9.99 in 2003).
