should be treated like an attack by a foreign country - the Government should go into emergency mode to stop the spread up the east coast and beyond. Resources are being waste, the environment is being poisoned and the planet's eco-system is at stake.

BP proved long ago that it cannot handle this. Whether or not the Government is up to the task is questionable..if national resources can't fix it solicit international assistance. Bite the bullet and swallow your f*** pride.....The ocean are a universal resource that is in jeopardy. Whether or not the Gulf can be restored or is lost is not the issue. This should be treated as a planetary crisis.
