13. A long time ago when Noelle Bush was busted for trying to get Xanax I...
...did some digging into her background to find out more. And then that digging led to other digging. The short answer is "No". The Bush's have tendrils that extend into all kinds of kooky places, are parts of things and apparently have influence with things that aren't even political. I used to read the phrase "Bush Family Evil Empire" and kind of snicker.

But it's true. Those members of their family who are reasonably intelligent and sober have been placed into offices or positions of importance. The intellectually-mediocre or those which have problems, like Noelle, are given sinecures in some of the peripheral organizations which help support the "Bush Empire".

If someone were to start a Wiki and just track Bush family members, where they work and the dealings of those organizations, I'm convinced it would be a stark profile, a microcosmic profile, of corruption in America. And there are arguably dozens if not hundreds of other families doing the same thing in this country. Little dynasties, influencing and manipulating and deal-making between themselves, at the expense of the entire environment in which they exist. I'm sure the same thing is being repeated over and over in the world currently and is probably (and with a sad honesty I say this) the way of the world.

Like a modern-day version of the Medicis...or the Sopranos.
