Shannyn Moore tore her up today on her radio show. It's embarrassing to have these people out there representing Alaskans. Lisa represents Big Oil and Big Banking, not the people of Alaska, and I hope to God the Democrats can find a viable candidate to run against her in November. As of right now, the only opposition she has is from the further right, Joe Miller, the guy Todd Palin is endorsing.

Hey, Alaska. Remember that “reasonable” Republican senator that we supposedly have? I hear all the time from my Independent and Republican friends that “she’s not that bad.” She’s the one with the 70-something percent approval rating. Well, guess what? Ms. “Not that Bad” just sold you down the river. What the heck? She’s untouchable. She can afford it. She doesn’t need you. All she needs is enough people who’ve already pegged her as “reasonable” and don’t want to be confused with new information.

Bought, paid for and wrapped up in a shiny oil-colored package, Murkowski has delivered herself to big oil, just like her father before her, who bequeathed his Senate seat to her in a grand act of nepotism. The apple, as they say, never falls far from the tree.
