when I wasn't getting any food stamps. In those decades I certainly was a hard working taxpayer, but I never expected or wanted somebody in the grocery store checkout line ahead of me to humble themselves by thanking me.

For all of those who profess to be Christians and demand to receive thanks, if they get it that will be their only reward.
