Fisher, given the chance to question Brunner directly before a banquet hall crowd of about 400, asked why she hasn’t offered to support him if he wins the nomination.

Brunner said her role as Ohio’s elections chief requires her neutrality to avoid the appearance of partisan bias. “I’ve never endorsed a candidate yet the whole time I’ve been secretary of state,” she said later.


Botany noted above that she has consistently taken this stance since 2006 and offered to provide you with that info.


That seems to debunk it pretty clearly to me.

IF you were so strongly in favor of her and that was the main factor giving you pause, I would think the evidence would be sufficient for you to resume your support of her.
