I have to agree with you there. While I was growing up, people who made it through the Great Depression ran the show. They understood what real hunger meant. Now we are controlled by people who grew up in the "Leave it To Beaver" era- the so-called "Good Old Days"- people who never suffered a day in their lives. We have been conditioned through TV and media to worry about ourselves, and no one else.
