This is huge. I hope bigger than the backlash of Prop 187 in California. The tide will turn on this one.

You're right that a lot of voters are not very reactive to things they should be. Lots vote against their own interest time and time. The parties have them pegged as single issue voters and they play that up.

This plays very well into the Republican racist hands. The whole problem with the economy was illegal immigration after all. :sarcasm:

It's a cheap ploy to distract angry Americans from the banks stealing the country blind. But it won't last as a distraction and it only paints them as being the party of anti-brown and anti-black and frankly anti-color.
