For me, "pro-life" is a euphemism for no abortions, ever. However, the death penalty and killing in wars is ok if, in the "pro-lifer"s opinion, they are "bad guys". Hence the euphemism.

If you look at the words, take apart the phrase, it means "for life" which we all are in some manner or another.

Figuring out what someone means will help communication. Do they mean "no abortions but death penalty and wars are ok"? Do they mean they are breatharians? Do they mean they want living creatures to stay alive?

I'd like to hear from posters who declare themselves "pro-life" regarding legal hygienic abortion access as to what they mean.
