2. better yet, try to get them to talk
I was working with a guy who said "we're going to rise up and take this country back"

My reply, "who is WE? the old white people in lawn chairs with tea bags hanging from their hats?"

"take this country back? from whom, who's GOT it? the half black half white guy who is currently the President"?

as a quick aside, I got to use a great argument from Thom Hartmann regarding the militia nuts. This guy that was on the ship claimed to be a militia man and I asked what good thirty (his number) rednecks in the woods with rifles were going to do when a team of Airborne Rangers drop into the woods behind their house? Didnt he see what happened at Waco when the government shows up to fight a group of untrained fundies with guns?

So the "they" that they are always talking about who are going to rise up and take this country back are nothing more than a few dozen il-prepared angry white people in lawn chairs who watch Fux news all day.

Or we could just yell "get a job" or "boo" to the idiots
