The Senate gave blanket immunization to Admiral Poindexter in order to get testimony against Reagan and Bush. Admiral Poindexter then testified that it all started and ended with him. When he said that you could just hear the sound of a gigantic rush of air going out of a balloon. The senators hummed and hawed a little bit and the whole investigation pretty much shut down.
