56. She is playing to her audience,
Edited on Sun Apr-11-10 10:39 PM by Blue_In_AK
like she always does. Histrionics is effective with the type of crowds she's choosing to work now. Her followers love her evangelical zeal and her fearlessness. She can say any kind of thing she wants to, she can lie right to their faces, and they just suck it up. They LOVE her.

You wonder how she became governor of Alaska? She played to her audience, just as she's doing now. Alaskans were not like the evangelical crowd, so she played us differently. She knew we were sick to death of the oily corruption under the Murkowski administration, so she came in pledging to clean up the mess, to give us open and transparent government, to get our fair share of money out of the oil companies at a time when they were making such huge profits. She sponsored ethics acts!

She played the part of a nonpartisan straightshooter right up until the time John McCain showed up. Of course, NOW it comes out about all the stuff that was going on behind the scenes, but she was so skillful at controlling the media that most of us didn't suspect any kind of weirdness going on. She was indeed very popular, and people were behind her public efforts.

That person we've been seeing ever since the RNC convention in 2008 who calls herself Sarah Palin is not the same person who was governor of Alaska. I'm not sure either one of them is the real Sarah Palin. That's what's so scary about her. With the divisiveness she's stirring up, I have to wonder what her true motives are, and the motives of the people who are funding her and keeping her in the media. They can't be good.

She used Alaskans, and she's using the teabaggers. Who is using her? I'm sure HER answer would be God himself! But I'm afraid it might be the other guy :evilfrown: or at least his minions.
