Because that's what you are going to get. Did you like the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, the extension of SCHIP, the Recovery and Reinvestment Act? Stupak's replacement is going to be someone who would have voted against each of those bills and likely will vote against other measures that you support.

So, let's do the math. On abortion, you end up no better off. On everything else, you end up worse off. Yet you apparently think this is a good result.

Hokay.
