or part of Afghan culture. I don't know whether the poster was WTF-ing at supposed ignorance of the culture or at my posting it. I'm aware of some basic anthropological concepts, such as cultural relativity, but drug use can also be argued to have a cultural component, so why talk of one and not the other. Plus, our government officials frequently travel to other countries to lecture other countries about human rights for their different resident groups.
