I don't know anything about farm subsidies and never have. Was the teabagger implying that without gov't subsidies, farmers could raise wheat prices arbitrarily to cost us $10 bucks a loaf? What does this mean? Do farmers get subsidized routinely for this kind of money by the federal government? Why? 250K a year? I don't get it. Does the government have to bribe the farmers for some reason?
