Not just the school. Hershey was selected so that fresh dairy could be delivered to the factory. Rail took care of the rest in raw materials delivery.

The workers were considered family by Milton. Once the modern short term bottom line philosophy of the new MBA crowd began applying what they had been taught to the foundation, then operations began moving away from community to Mexico.

Milton has been rolling in his grave for a long time now.
