I read with great interest of your account of bravely venturing into teabagger territory on Saturday. And it inspired me to write a piece based on it.

I located a photo of your banner and attached it to my article, along with a photo of the pitchfork brandishing teapartiers. I was especially struck by your encounter with the anti-healthcare reform protester with no health insurance for herself or her children, who "proudly boasted that if anyone in her family got sick they would not expect help from anyone else, they would get through it on their own." Idiots like that woman apparently have no idea they are being used as dupes and they continue to act and vote against their own self interests, with no understanding of the consequences. That woman exemplifies the sad and pitiful state of our nation's current discourse.

But I have hope that the healthcare reform bill will pass. Even as watered down as it is, it's a great start.

I hope you enjoy reading my piece. And as soon as I can, at the moment I need some sleep, I plan to post a piece on Michele Bachmann's lunacy at the Kill the Bill rally.
