79. Interesting.
I think most women would like a private area to breastfeed. I know my wife who is currently breastfeeding prefers it when there is a private area to do that. However the restroom is the wrong place. Breastfeeding in a farty, smelly restroom is cruel, and I really can't imagine the government requiring breastfeeding stations like they require handicap access. In the end it comes down to economics balanced against a child's needs.

I do feel that on a families part that certain restaurants are more appropriate than others. We would never bring our baby to an expensive, white linen restaurant simply out of courtesy to other diners. The baby could cry, we have about 20 pounds of baby stuff in tow everywhere we go, etc etc. But at the local Mexican restaurant? No problem. Of course, I know that often gets people riled up as well (the children at fancy restaurants thing). But being an ex-waiter for a white linen restaurant and having had my family own a fancy French restaurant, my views about dining are more conservative. But then, in that case the restaurant really should have dress policies to indicate this. Anywhere where jeans are acceptable babies are too.
