What an interesting race in Ariz between McCain and Hayworth...

J.D. Hayworth endorses John McCain to be Secretary of State in the most glowing of terms.

Then Hayworth decides to run against McCain and seek his seat in the Senate.

Hayworth says McCain is not conservative enough, and claims he is supported by the Tea Party movement.

The Tea Partiers are supposedly having a national convention, and Sarah Palin has been contracted to be the keynote speaker for $100,000.00.

But wait, Palin endorses McCain, NOT Hayworth. Now Tea Partiers are upset with Palin for not backing Hayworth--the more conservative candidate in their view.

Given the rightwing nuttiness of Hayworth, this race should provide real entertainment for the political observers. The only real question is how 'dirty' will it get between McCain and Hayworth?
And will Palin take the tea baggers' $100,000.00 and still back McCain?
