344. watching Rachel Maddow now
Edited on Wed Jan-20-10 10:10 PM by newspeak
her guest from Newsweek was talking about how the democrats have just been caving in to the repukes. For instance, the head of TSA, DeMint kept him from being appointed, even after the Detroit undiepants bomber--now he's strutting around like a rooster because the guy stepped down. I agree with her guest, FDR carried himself with a smile and a stiletto behind his back. I want to see a spine, not a bunch of wimps continually stating "we must be bi-partisan-we must come to an agreement with the repukes". Even though what most of the repukes want is not in the best interest for the people of this country. Maybe their wealthy donors, or their corporate fat cats, but not for the majority of Americans. All I have to do is look what these repukes passed under *, and what the state of the nation is now. The reason we have such an insurance industry bill, is because they made so many concessions to repukes and blue dogs for their corporate masters--and did not think of the people.

What I'm seeing is some spineless Democrats or ones that are feeding on the same teats as the repukes. Hell yeah, I want a FDR with a smile on his face and a stiletto behind his back.
