People are throwing the baby out w/ the bathwater when they take the anti-democracy side of this issue b/c they dislike Bev Harris. You, dd, have more right than just about anyone to remind us that a person who worked hard for election integrity, as DUer Andy did, would be very upset by this use of his tragedy.

I would add to that list in MA the Center for Hand-counted Paper Ballots and in NY the Election Transparency Coalition.

Who's to say that the count in the Dem primary for this race wasn't tampered with? Point is, there's no way of knowing w/o at the very least rigorous audits, or even better, a complete handcount on the spot that night.
