is that like the Titanic, our public policy is a bitch to turn. My only hope is they see the iceberg one minute sooner...

The difference I see between R's and D's is that while all are enjoying their perks (like first class passengers)the D's they realize we are ALL on the same boat passing at high speed through icy seas, while the R's think only the steerage types will drown and call for more caviar.

The true question is whether the Captain and the lookouts are R's or a D's.
