223. At the risk of upsetting your daughter
Edited on Wed Jan-06-10 03:57 PM by TMED
Why don't you make a video of you explaining, as best you can, to your 8-year-old why Mommy can't get the help she needs and why Daddy can't find a job? She probably won't understand, at least at first, but in terms of making a video that can go viral, that's actually a good thing. She will force you to explain your explanations, but simply. And once an 8-year-old understands what you and your ex are going through, any adult seeing your video will understand, also.

I am basically saying "Put a human face on the suffering that we read about".

Oh, and please make sure that you work in some explanations about how Obama lied, as a candidate. 8-year-olds certainly understand the concept of lying, correct? At the very least, she will have some understanding about how hard you are trying to work with what you've been given, and how you have been betrayed by the political classes, both D's and R's.
