I was a massive dick-head. I know you're feeling a lot of pain right now and I should have taken the time to consider where you were coming from before posting my little fit. We're all a little on edge these days, but that doesn't mean that we should lose sight of our compassion as liberal Democrats. I did just that and I was wrong. And when you replied to my idiotic post, you didn't even respond in kind! :hug: You took the time to write a reasoned explanation of where you were coming from and why you feel so hopeless right now (glad I cut and pasted into Word as I can read it now). We did get that win in 2008. I haven't given up yet (I am incapable of giving up - it's just the way I'm wired), and I hope that someday soon we can once again unite to change the direction of this country. I know the change isn't (and never does) coming fast enough, but we can't give up now - the fight is too important and surely our opponents will take advantage if given the opportunity.
Anyway, all the best to you and your family. Sorry for all the fuss (and to anybody else who I upset). :hug:
