214. I will concede to the following:
BIGOTRY, by it's textbook definition, is no longer prevalent. RACISM, which is when a majority group in a nation have enough financial and political power to negatively affect another race (minority), is STILL prevalent. Subtlety makes it no LESS prevalent!
Prison has replaced lynching. Racial profiling and red lining are STILL insidious tools of racism. Small minority businesses STILL can't get financing/loans from banks. This is not denial. This is the worldview of facts that we, as a people, navigate through daily. Slavery, apartheid and lynchings have been replaced by more obscure tactics to accomplish the same goals. Racism.

I will concur with your final statement.
