that's probably the dumbest thing I've heard someone who "appears" to be either a liberal or a Democrat say. Really, "closely aligned with the pharmaceutical industry"? Absolutely missing the point, the only point I would imagine a "liberal" or even a "Democrat" should be able to see clearly from outer space.

Okay, let's say we (Democrats et al) don't want to emulate the party solidarity and effectiveness of the previous administration that, right out of the gate, made it clear they meant business. Why? Well, apparently if Barack Obama and the Democratic majority approached the effectiveness of the Republicans over the last ten years, that's a bad thing. Personally, I expected us to clean house when we took the keys to the place but that's just me.

So we are to take this little charade of "bipartisanship" and kiss the ring otherwise we are "closely aligned with the pharmaceutical industry". I really, really hope people with your tepid, weak and compromised position are a minority. Otherwise the Democrats are finished.
