That was all that Joe Lieberman could say after Senator Al Franken objected to his call for more time to slobber his nonsense. He couldn't believe that a Democrat would stand up to him. He was in shock.

"Don't take it personally," he said to Franken. The gall of Lieberman! Don't take it seriously? He's willing to throw millions of people under the bus and let them die for lack of insurance coverage and he says, "don't take it seriously"?

Of course, John McCain felt obligated to stand up and defend his friend, Senator Lieberman. It's just a matter of time before he goes over to the Republican Party. Simply because he has worn out his welcome in the Democratic Party.

Senator Franken is the only Democrat that has stood up to Lieberman in this way. It would be nice to have a Majority Leader that could do the same.
