Since I began using Firefox, I haven't had any problems with my computer. It's great for rejecting pop-ups and tracking cookies that many websites place in your computer. It's not conducive to my email either but it's worth the hassle of having to use another server for just email. Firefox also has a "tweak guide" that you may find useful should you decide to use it as your permanent server.
