4. It's odd that it's revolving around the Iglesias firing
but that seems to be the thread they're pulling to unravel the whole business.

Domenici (R-fossil) and Wilson (R-COW) were both exposed as having made threatening phone calls to him to hurry (read: fabricate) charges against Patricia Madrid and other Democrats before the election. Domenici (R-fossil) pled senility to avoid prosecution and retired from the Senate over it. His senility has since miraculously reversed, or so he claims. Wilson(R-COW) ran for his seat and was defeated in the primary by a complete wingnut who was defeated in the general.

The firing has now gotten rid of one Republican Senator and two Republican Representatives and now the state's representation is completely Democratic. We owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

Iglesias is a quietly competent prosecutor even though he's picked the wrong party. He's not going away and he's going to keep after these people until at least a few of them are in prison.

If he manages to get Rove into prison, the whole country will owe him this debt.
