Why do the female right wing Christians always sound so perky and cheery?

I listen to a lot of AM radio and often latch on to fundie stations - Protestant and Catholic.

They are much of a muchness, except for the saints and the sacraments and adoration of Mary, of course.

I noticed that the women show hosts are universally the same. Perky, cheery, laughing all the time, etc. they sound like empty headed cheerleaders.

Do they study one another and ape their style? They remind me of perpetually smiley followers of various guru's in the '60's.

Its quite unnatural and depressing. Normal people just don't act like that. That's why they come across as so artificial and phony.
