"Allison Gollust, a spokeswoman for MSNBC, said the network considers Imus’ comments “deplorable” and is reviewing the matter."

Points i think we should make:

Imus words are his job. He can say whatever he wants about his intentions, and even if we were to believe him, the fact remains is that he is spreading hate. Time and Time again.

There must be someone better qualified to fill Imus's time slot.
