If anyone does stand out, he's attacked, look at Dan Rather.

For anyone under forty, we really did have a vice president named spiro, he was forced
out of office due to charges against him, he did not plead guilty or innocent, but that
he did not contest the charges. He was vp under Nixon, and then Ford came in and became
prez 3 months later.
