Good for the doctor!

True story: I was interviewing a jackass plastic surgeon (of all the specialties I interview, dermatologists who specilize in cosmetic work are the most obnoxious and greedy).

We showed him an advertisement for a treatment for a condition where the patients (statistically) tend to be overweight. And because docotrs had complained that the people in the ad didn't look like "real" patients" who had this disease, these ads featured heavier models.

This doctor was APPALLLED. "I'm used to watching Fox News - do you ever watch Fox News?"
"Not if you put a gun to my head"
"Well, everyone on Fox News is extremely good-looking! I'm not used to looking at ugly people! They shouldn't use fat people in their ads!"
(fortunately, the doctor ignored my knee-jerk reaction, and my clients who were behind the 2-way mirror didn't seem to mind)

What was aggrevating was that the model in the ad was really lovely, but she was slightly overweight. Ugly? And yes, of course the doctor himself was something of an ugly little troll....
