8. From my own perspective...
...it's not about Limpballs, and it's not about Sykes and her dumping on a nitwit who deserves it. It's the incredibly dumbass decision to use 9/11 as the backdrop for a joke. I know, "Well, they do it all the time." So that makes it smart for us to do it? Goddamn, all I've been hearing for years around here is how disgusting, and stupid they were/are for making 9/11 their holy grail of propoganda. I keep wondering if some DUers will ever realize that the general Democratic public is not as informed, nor as progressive as they are, and that the people DU members would like in office would not be there but for them. Looking at it for a moment from regular Democratic voting Joe/Joann's eyes, and remember, they're patriotic Americans first, it is absolutely in bad taste to use the event of 9/11 in a comedic setting. Why anger him/her unnecessarily when they're needed for the next election cycle? I would call rejecting that idea for a joke just plain common sense. Thanks.
