17. The Dollar Store and Swiss Cheese..Deja Vu all over again...
Edited on Wed Jan-07-09 10:28 PM by lib2DaBone
I stopped at the Dollar store tonight and stocked up on paper towels, laundry detergent, trash bags.. etc., can't go wrong. Looks like other folks doing the same. Must be a Rod Sterling moment or something like that.

Then I went to the supermarket next door to get some Ham and Swiss for brown bag lunches. A small package of Swiss was $6.99! I couldn't believe it. I put it back.

Only one question: How come when gasoline goes down in price.. it usually goes down a penny a week over manny months. Yet when the price of gas goes up.. it jumps 50 cents in one day?
