The one thing that most bothers me about putting HRC in any administration post is that she has not yet taken responsibility for the really awful things her campaign did during the primaries. And of those things, the one I find most irksome was her use of snippets of sermons from Trinity UCC to accuse Obama of being anti-American, etc. Remember, it wasn't Republicans who did this. Indeed, McCain said Trinity was off limits to his campaign. All of that came from the Clintons.

I think she owes an apology to the people and staff of Trinity UCC, and to Obama from attacking his faith. The sermon soundbites were taken out of context, and ultimately forced the Obamas to leave a church they had loved. This is the lowest of the low, imo. I don't think I'll ever respect HRC because of this. But an apology, an acknowledgment that this was beyond the pale might help me to gain some respect. Maybe.

And I would think it would make her more trustworthy to Obama. And it would be the right thing to do.
