To be honest, I am afraid of guns. But not afraid enough to stay at home. I don't think that is the issue. My biggest fear is SILENCE. Silence will doom us. It is the biggest danger we face in this nation. I honestly believe that.

After all, all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing (or so they say).

But with respect to physical danger, I am tired of living the meaningless life and won't stay home. If someone wants to shoot protesters because they stand for democracy, let 'em. As Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty or give me death." There's true patriotism in that sentiment. Unlike the fake, bigoted patriotism the right always spews about.
