the area I was in is hardcore McCain-Palin territory. There's plenty to fear. ;)

Seriously, I was born there (visited often but wasn't raised there) and have family there. I'm not dissing Alabama, but I was in an area in which it would be truly dangerous to voice support of Obama.

There was a homemade sign...huge....which read:

"President McCain? How d'ya like that, Hanoi Jane?!"

The (largely) misplaced anger has been there for 40 years. Unbelievable.
